Tammy S. Cobb was appointed to the Board of Directors at the New Mexico Veterans Memorial Foundation in November 2022. Her last active duty assignment was the Chief of the Nuclear Logistics Operations Department at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Kirtland AFB, NM. She retired June 30, 2023 with over thirty-two years in the USAF. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio Northern University and completed the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corp program at Bowling Green State University. She was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in May 1990 and attained the rank of Colonel in 2012. Her career includes assignments in various commands and locations worldwide, including Japan, Italy, Iraq, and several bases in the United States. Additionally, she holds advanced degrees in Business Administration and Engineering Science Dynamics. Colonel Cobb is also an active member of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association, Canyon Club, League of Women Voters, Women Veterans of New Mexico and enjoys hanging out with rescue dog, Baci, and travel.
