Facility Rental

With indoor facilities that accommodate 153 guests, a private courtyard that hosts 400, and outdoor grounds that seat 3,500, the New Mexico Veterans Memorial creates a setting for events unlike any other in Albuquerque.
Set in the shadow of the majestic Sandia Mountains, the Memorial is the perfect place for:
Reunions   •   Meetings   •   Conferences   •   Banquets   •   Weddings
Retirements
   •   Showers   •   Family Gatherings   •   Receptions   •   Other Events

Multi-Purpose Space Available for Rent

Picture
The Event Facility and its adjacent parking are available for use by veterans groups and any community groups or individuals that wish to rent the space. Twice a year the VA holds a PTSD class and the students spend their final day of class at the Memorial.

The large conference room comes equipped with a communication and sound system as well as sound-proof panels which, when deployed, create space allowing two meetings to occur simultaneously.

There’s a large gas-heated fireplace which creates a beautiful focal point on one end, and around the perimeter of the room are 50 state flags. High above, on the west wall, is stained-glass artwork by a west coast artist. These pieces are the emblems of all 6 branches of the Military Service.
To inquire about reserving the event facilities, please call: (505) 768-4497

Frequently Asked Questions

Q?  What are the hours the Event Center is available to rent?
A.   The Event Center is available 7 days a week, from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Q?  Is music allowed at the Center?
A.   Yes. The Event Center has a large room perfect for music and dancing. Due to the close proximity of local neighbors, and out of respect for them, the NMVM requests that music ends at 9:00 pm.

Q?  Is it possible to schedule a multi-day conference?
A.   Yes. The Event Center is equipped with a large conference room that lends itself to multitasking meetings and conferences. It can easily be divided into 2 rooms using a single sound-proof partition.

Q?  What are the fees for renting the facility?
A.   Fees are based upon (a) type of event, (b) the length of the event, (c) the equipment used, such as, the number of tables and chairs, (d) weekday vs weekend event and (e) how many people will be attending. A cleaning / damage deposit is required. All restrictions due to COVID 19 must be observed.

Q?  Will anyone from the NMVM be present during the event?
A.   Yes. Any event occurring inside the Event Center requires the presence of a board member or manager on duty.

Q?  Is it possible to have food at my event?
A.   Yes. You are welcome to hire a caterer to staff your event.

Q?  How can I schedule my event?
A.   To schedule your event, please contact the New Mexico Veteran’s Memorial at (505) 768-4497 or fill out our contact form. A member of the Board will contact you. Our goal is to work closely with you to help you make your special event truly special.
